MORE INFO TO COME …
Well I built the building (Downtown Deco Kit Addams Ave Part III) some time ago and decided to put it on a diorama and then it sat for a while and awhile longer … this fully lit with with color light change in the interior club, flashing sign on the Club Atomic. Static light on the Check Cafe and rest of the interior with window silhouettes and details.
All decals are Dave’s Decals and HO Newspapers
Highly detailed exterior and custom decals with lots of detail parts and populated with handpainted Preiser people. Footprint is 7.5″X8″ and 6.5″ tall. Lighting is all LED on 12vdc barring the one 12 vdc incandescent warm street light.
Well I’ve aiming to offer my window decals on acetate for a while now and I have finally got around to it … so all WINDOW DECALS are available on thin acetate sheets that you can cut out and use in your windows.
Now I’ve been asked a few a time if I had stained glass decals and while I’ve thought of several different ways I final thought that large cut to fit designs would work best for several scales so these with work on things from N, HO, S, O and even G among others.
Here are the two newest set … the stained glass sets 8013 and 8014
POSTING NOW and more to come 2nds, errors, extras and test sets clearing them out for the years end … been slow in adding them to the listing. These are one of a kind, and what you see is what you get in the listing. Get them before they are gone.
And if you missed it because you didn’t open up your newsletter … now through Christmas get 20% off your order of $50.00 or more (excluding built models and tools) just enter the code SANTA16 for your discount at checkout.
Got questions just ask!
Here are a couple of example from the NEW Top’s Liquor Set# 7035 where you can make either a Modern or Mid Century building but if you don’t have time to build them the MODERN is for sale and the Mid Century is SOLD. Not every decal on the models are on the set but more are and all are available in the store. These are lit with 12VDC LED but I for got to get a picture of them lit but I’ll add some later. Footprint is 2″X3″ and 4″ tall.
And now for something completely different … the Wonder Woman Museum HO Scale building … Found some little Super Hero statues at the Dollar Tree and grabbed a few different one Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and thought ‘Hey there is a giant Superman in Metropolis IL and the Superman Museum so why not build something like that?’ and since I have Superman and Batman and Might find some more I may do those too depending on if this one sales.
anyway about the model this is all custom sizes and modified decals to fit this building with a hand scribed base and some mistakes at no additional cost. The footprint is 6″X8″ and it’s 4″ tall – lit with two 12vdc LED’s it will come bare wired unless you want it wired for a 110VAC plug than that’ll be about $20.00 – as for price I’m entertaining offers as I’ve never made one like this before and don’t know where to start … might just toss it up on ebay and see where it goes.
Here are the pics …
I know you are shocked I’d make a typo … (said very sarcastically) but one reader kindly pointed out that I said … “
“Dave’s Decals would like to announce that our decals will NOT be in a few selected Carolina Craftman’s Kits”
That should read …
“Dave’s Decals would like to announce that our decals will NOW be in a few selected Carolina Craftman’s Kits”
Hey it was 2 AM when I typed this out I should really start doing these when I’m awake.
Ooops cover that?
Carolina Craftsman will be adding Dave’s Decals to a some of their kits. these will be paper decals and not waterslide. It’s only a couple of kits right now but we hope to expand that some. The kits in question are just going into production so I don’t have a link yet to those kits … so in the meantime please check out Jeff’s site and try his product at Carolina Craftsman Kits
Here are a couple of his kits …
