(SOLD) O SCALE BUILD BORDELLO

Here are a few pictures and the progression of an O Scale Bordello/Church build. This is a modified kit build from a Thomas Yorke Kit. Since this has to travel across the country I opted to frame it up with ASB and glue the boards to that so that there would be a lesser chance of damage and not affect the looks of the building.

NEW PRODUCT (SORT OF) BILLBOARD SIGNS

NEW BILLBOARD SIGNS! With a bunch more coming as I get time to make them … these are printed on Glossy Art Paper. I’m making them available in the store on the regular assortment of media (decals, cardstock, peel and stick) the price per glossy art paper set is set at $4.95

This is is first sets, a few more are coming and if they provide popular I’ll add even more.

QUICK TIP ON MAKING OLD PEELED AND CHIPPED PAINT

STEP 1: BUILD IT 
STEP 2: PAINT IT A BASE COAT (Color is your choice) let it dry. 
STEP 3: SPRAY IT WITH HAIRSPRAY (I use Aqua Net it’s cheap) Let it dry completely
STEP 4: PAINT A TOP COAT (Color is your choice) Let it dry. 
STEP 5: Take some packing tape (any sticky tape) and stick it to the surface and pull it off, this should give you the peeled and chipped paint effect. 
(TIP: If you find the paint is not coming off you can dampen it a little and try again, use caution as you can take off more than you may want to when it’s wet. 
STEP 6: Add a little weathering like color washes, scratches, shading, powders, spatters, DAVE’S DECALS, etc. 
STEP 7: If you like what you have seal it and then add you window glass and call it done.

Note there are several way to do this and this is just one way.

(SOLD) EL CULO LLAMEANTE – O SCALE BUILD

Here is the latest build a very old Thomas Yorke O Scale Building – the kit is the Lakeside Grocery, but the client wanted a Mexican Restaurant so I made it into the El Culo Llameante. the lighting is LED with client supplied Woodland Scenic Just Plug LED lighting. 

This kit is a old one from 1979 that was still new in box.
